Admission Team
Welcome to the admission team of Siam University. Our team is ready to provide you with useful information and help you be prepared for the new academic journey.
Admission Process
- Complete the application form (download or fill online) and send it to SIAM along with supporting documents (documents and application fee of $US 50)
- The admission committee reviews the application file, and if satisfactory, sends the applicant an acceptance letter.
- Candidate applies for a student visa (non-immigrant), category-ED) at the nearest Thai consulate
- Applicant comes to Thailand and finalizes admission at Siam University campus (Placement Test and Course registration)
Admission Requirements for International Students
International Bachelor’s Degree Program
For International Bachelor’s Degree Program, applicants with any one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- High School Transcript / Diploma equivalent to Grade 12.
- IGCSE / GCSE / "O" level examination with a minimum of 5 subjects at grade C or above.
- AS level examination with a minimum of 5 subjects at grade C or above.
- A level examination with a minimum of 3 subjects at grade A to E
- GED examination with a minimum score of 145 for each subject, the total scores (all four subjects added together) of 580.
International Master’s Degree Program
For International Master’s Degree Program, applicants with the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in any fields.
International Doctor’s Degree Program
For International Doctoral and PhD Degree Programs, applicants with the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in any fields.
Note that if your transcripts and certificate are in a language other than English, they must be translated and notarized by a notary public or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ( The PDF file is preferred)
Remark: Myanmar students will be considered case by case.
Qualifications:
- Officially graduated from the previous institution
- Good command of English (English proficiency score is optional)
The candidates who are not able to demonstrate a working knowledge of English will be required to take one or more Foundation English courses in their first semester or prior to the beginning of the first semester.
Undergraduate Students can exempt English I, II, and III. following the English Exemption guidelines below. The results must be no more than 2 years old until the date of application. Students who have no English score can take an exit exam at the Language Center.
